27 April 2009: 2009 50m Championships - In the NEW POOL!

The 2009 50m Club Championships will be held on 13th and 20th of June in the East Midlands International Pool.

All swimmers that take part will receive a commemorative medal to mark the first club even in the new centre.

To enter, you will have to complete an entry form and return it by 9th June. Paper forms are available from the club, or an electronic form can be downloaded from here:

21 January 2009: Mission Statement

The swimming club mission statement, part of our ongoing Swim 21 initiative, has been posted to the documents section of the website. All members of the club are encouraged to become familiar with the statement which is reproduced below.

Corby Amateur Swimming Club Mission Statement

Our mission is to offer children/young people in Corby and surrounding areas the best opportunity to develop and achieve their maximum potential in the sport of competitive swimming.

We aim to promote the physical and social benefits of swimming in a safe and friendly environment. We teach and train swimmers of all levels, emphasizing on individual progress and team unity.

We value health, fitness, sportsmanship, citizenship, honesty, respect, hard work, discipline, teamwork and fair play. Our club strives to develop these life qualities through sport.

31 March 2008: Interhouse Round One 2008

Make sure you pick up your Interhouse slip this week and return it ASAP before Saturday 19th April - the first round of this years competition. Who will gain the first lead - Dolphins, Seals or Sharks?


18 March 2008: County Championships

Congratulations to all who took part in the annual county championships. There were many good swims an PBs all round. Particular congratulations go to Corby's senior boys 4 x50m free style relay team, who won a fantastic race at the end of the 4 days of competition. Well Done boys!
